Tyler Zander nearly lost his life in a grain elevator accident in 2011. He was hospitalized for several months and required 89 products from 79 donors.
Since the accident, Tyler graduated from Chisholm High School, received his bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University and went on to graduate from the Oklahoma University College of Medicine.
Tyler received his white coat from the same doctor who worked tirelessly to safe his life. He is currently in his third year of residency and enjoying life with his wife, Emily, and 16-month-old son, Jack.
