April 19, 2024, marks 29 years since the day that changed so many lives, not just in Oklahoma, but across the country. On April 19, 1995, a bomb went off at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. It was one of the worst acts of domestic terror on American soil. That attack prompted many thousands of Oklahomans to immediately step up and give blood.

Our Blood Institute employees share their stories of the day, all those years ago, when our community and country faced unimaginable scenes of horror but still managed to come together to do good.

We will never forget.
