What's Changing?
We will be enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all donor portal accounts. MFA adds a simple but powerful extra step when you log in. After entering your username and password, you'll be asked to verify your identity with a one-time code sent to your phone or email. This helps ensure that only you can access your account, even if your password were ever compromised.
Why Are We Doing This?
Cyber threats targeting online accounts are on the rise across all industries, including blood centers and healthcare organizations. Enabling MFA is one of the most effective ways to protect your personal information and keep your account secure.
What to Expect on June 1st:
When you log in, you will be prompted to set up MFA.
You may defer enrollment up to 5 times before setup becomes required.
Verification codes will be valid for 10 minutes.
The process takes just a few minutes and you only need to set it up once.
What You Need to Do:
No action is required before June 1st. When you next log in on or after that date, simply follow the on-screen prompts to complete your MFA setup. We recommend having your mobile phone handy.
